Most results are available within 2-5 working days, depending on the test. Every result is reviewed by a qualified GP before being sent to you, along with clear explanations of what your results mean and any recommended next steps. When you arrive at Chatham Pharmacy, our trained pharmacist will perform a venous blood draw. This is the same method used in hospitals and is much more accurate than at-home finger-prick kits. Some tests require fasting (typically 8-12 hours beforehand), while others don't. When you book, we'll let you know if fasting is required for your specific test. As a general rule, cholesterol tests, glucose tests, and comprehensive metabolic panels work best with fasting. You can still drink water during the fasting period.
